Electronic Technician/ Field Service Representative

 Filling Billets for  Immediate Deployment

 

 

Vesper Wave is  hiring talented engineers,  technicians, and field service representatives  to support our government customers .   Qualified candidates  must be willing to work and live on U.S. Military Bases  in the Middle East and travel between U.S. Bases by Military AIR:

·         Provides  installation,  maintenance, repairs, and training of intelligence and electronic warfare systems in to military vehicles.

·         Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains communications equipment to the component, board, and  subsystem  level

·         Performs system level troubleshooting using complex computer diagnostics and test equipment.

·         Inspects and tests electronic equipment, components and assemblies using multi-meters, circuit testers, oscilloscopes, logic probes and other test equipment

·         Researches and tracks  parts, services logs, and supplies

·         Works from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.

·         Performs fabrication and integration of cable and electronic assemblies

·         Performs quality and safety reviews of equipment installation practices.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

·         Minimum of three (3) years of  electronics, and electrical work experience

·         Two years of training at an accredited technical/military school in electronics, electrical engineering and/or electronics engineering technology

·         Must be proficient with a variety of hand tools, power tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and welding.

·         Must effectively apply Ohm’s Law and industry standard troubleshooting procedures to localize/isolate faulty system components.

·         Must be proficient in the use of MicroSoft office products.

·         Must have the ability to lift up to 40lbs

·         Must have the ability to stand, walk, squat, and bend for up to 12 hours

·         Ability to live and work in deployed environment - 7 days a week (84 hrs.)

·         Ability to  work in a stressful environment and complete deadlines under pressure

·         Must be capable of traveling in an extended TDY (Temporary Duty) status with the U.S. Forces

·         Ability to pass pre-employment background (security clearance) investigation, medical screenings and drug tests.

      Location:                  US Military Bases in the Middle East

      Clearance Level:      Must possess or be able to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance
